At Ember Esthetics I believe that supporting and enhancing our skin’s vitality and health is the key to true beauty. In my practice, I stay away from terms like “anti-aging”, endeavor to find alternatives to barrier-damaging and flow-impairing treatments like peels and injections, and reject oppressive and impossible beauty standards. Instead, Ember Esthetics is a place to let go of beauty ideals that dampen your fire, a cozy treatment room where I can make space for whatever you’re holding or releasing, a sanctuary where together we can cultivate healing and nourishing practices that enhance your overall well-being, your skin’s health, and your innate beauty and radiance.
I am deeply in love with facial massage and the profound power of the hands, especially when supported by a few gua sha tools and a minimal deck of nourishing, barrier-supporting, whole-plant infused skincare products.
By encouraging good flow, supporting the skin’s natural processes, and promoting relaxation deep within the tissues, I believe we can achieve your healthiest, happiest, glowiest skin.

About Me…
My name is Amelia Wilson. As a young kiddo I was having my mama lay down with cucumbers on her eyes for “spa day”, making my own very messy sugar scrubs, and doing avocado-honey hair masks with my two best friends. Needless to say, the desire to pamper runs deep for me. After over a decade in the food industry, I decided to give hair school a shot… and did not love it. But what I did love was sneaking into the esthetics lectures to learn about the function of skin! After a big pivot out of hair, I started at Aesthetics Institute in Portland and fell in love with the nurturing magic of a good facial.
Shortly after graduation and a life changing trip to Scotland, I started working at a local spa. For two and a half years, I got to learn and experiment, getting invaluable hands-on experience in the beauty and wellness industry. Those two and a half years were also a time for great personal growth, soul searching, making herbal infusions, seeking trainings and certifications, beginning energy healing classes, honing my craft, and exploring my passions… all of which culminated in the birth of Ember Esthetics! Becoming and embodying what it really means to be a holistic esthetician has led me to explore and learn so much more about healing than I could have imagined. I am humbled by and grateful for all that I’ve experienced so far, and I am beyond excited to keep expanding my mind and my skill set.
When not in the treatment room or watching endless facial massage videos, I can probably be found studying herbs, reading fantasy books, making beaded jewelry, or hanging out with my partner and our three sweet fur babies.
